MotoDisplay Handwave 4.2

This app is specifically designed for select Motorola devices. However, for all other devices from different manufacturers or for devices running custom ROMs, the app will function in COMPATIBILITY mode.

It is important to note that this app may require Device Administrator permissions.

Unsupported Moto devices include:

• Moto E3 series, M, C, and G1, G2 models (as they lack Moto Display)
• Moto E4 series experiences some issues, which are expected to be resolved in Version 4.0 of the app
• Moto X1 (reason unknown, potentially a fault in the Moto Display app itself)
• Moto X2 and newer models, Moto Z and Z2 series have this functionality built-in

This app brings up Moto Display when the device's proximity sensor detects motion while the screen is off. Additionally, it offers some extra features:

1. Music control notification: allows users to control music volume directly from Moto Display without needing to touch the volume rockers
2. Wave-n-hold for screen off: users can switch off the screen using a proximity sensor-based gesture within the app, eliminating the need to use the power button.

Please note that this app does not activate Moto Display (or the lock screen) while the device is in the pocket.
